It is time to pay tribute to my fellow diet bloggers. As you may have noticed I am not the only person on the net collecting information on diet programs and diet tips. The community of diet bloggers is constantly growing and so I found it was time to present some of the top diet blogs to you.
But why are diet blogs so popular to begin with? The fitness magazine recognizes diet blogs as having a major effect on the motivation of people.
Find the best diets
To me that is the real purpose of a diet blog: to share diet stories and help each other with losing weight! And I really hope that I can also inspire some of you out there to eat more healthily or start a diet. Personally I have been really amazed by all the support and feedback that you get from the online diet community.
Thanks to all of you guys!
So here is my list of 15 best diet blogs on the web:
1. There is “the diet blog” a really informative blog that comes up with new stories on nutrition and weight loss regularly. It is written by several nutritionists and therefore quite professional. Definitely a good read!
2. A blog that I really admire is the blog of Gwen, the Cholesterol blog. She had to change her nutrition and her way of life in order to overcome her cholesterol problems and writes about that in her blog. I really like her descriptions of the Ornish diet as they always include stories of her life. This diet blog certainly is a good read for all people suffering from similar problems.
3. Mydietblogger.com is a diet blog network dealing with topics such as diet myths, nutrition and fitness. There is a lot of information to be found there and if you don’t find a article you like, you might be able to find a post about the topic you want to get information about in their forum.
4. Another good read is the weight loss blog at families.com Lisa Pietsch writes about dieting and everything around the topic.
5. I love the motto of Kalyn’s Kitchen Blog: Cook. Eat. Lose weight. Celebrate. Her blog is about South Beach Diet recipes. Just have a look and try out some recipes – they are fantastic!
6. The daily skinny post already the site’s name is great, but the posts are even better. Jujuridl writes about her life and daily struggle with weight loss and nutrition. I love the way the posts are written!
7. You can find another great blog at orange.co.uk. Different women have documented their diet experiences in this blog. I found it to be really motivating how they describe their struggles with losing weight.
8. This blog shows you that you are NOT the only one who has a really tough time with dieting.
My all natural weight loss by Token Fat Girl. Another blog that I really want to pay tribute to here. This blog is so “real” and you can tell from the way it is written that it is a real help and source of motivation for the author and this makes it one of the most valuable diet blogs out there!
9. Laura Freberg’s psychology blog – another great blog about a weightloss experience also including recipes and lots of other interesting stuff.
10. Laura Kelly has started an interesting project on her diet blog. She wants to test 52 diets in 52 weeks. A pretty crazy plan if you ask me, but I will definitely have a look at the site in the weeks to come to see how she is doing.
11. In his blog Jeremy Zawodny is explaining how he lost 50 pounds with a spreadsheet and a website. You will find some good tips in there and it is also pretty inspiring.
12. A weight lifted – this blog deals mainly with healthy nutrition. The blog is presented like a diary and there are also a lot of other topics in there except of dieting.
13. On her page Weight Watchen Ronnie provides really interesting insights into her life and her weight loss journey with the Weight Watchers Program. She also gives away a lot of personal stuff such as a shopping list and menu suggestions. I really like that.
14. Healthy B.P.M. – its all about health. Healhty living, healthy food, healthy exercising, health issues, health challenges,….
15. Finally 3 fat chicks a really good diet forum were you will be able to find lots of information as well as people who are experiencing the same as you. Join the diet community!
After presenting all these interesting blogs to you I hope that you will still keep showing up at my homepage to read my new posts ![]()

Thanks for putting this list together. I’ve been looking for a dieting social network and came across this post. mydietblogger.com looked promising but it looks like they are offline now. Do you know of any other diet blog networks or diet social networks?
Thanks!
Nice list of blogs. I will be back soon to see if you have posted any others.

wow what a great affiliate information, thanks for that…..good work..
Hi there… I’m now attempting the silly challenge of 52 diets in 52 weeks… I was hoping some people might like to read how I’m getting on. You will see very quickly that I am a terrible dieter! Hopefully by the end I will be better! My blog is here.. http://www.fiftytwodietsfiftytwoweeks.blogspot.com/ … I’m new to blogging, but hope you will enjoy it!

Nice to see that we have rated the “diet zone”. Found this new site that promotes eating correctly with what to avoid and why. The best part is that it has recipes that are actually easy to make – try the mashed cauliflower its fantastic! Hope this will encourage everyone to stay fit or to take the initiative to drop a few and feel that wonderful sense of accomplishment!

Hi Delilah,
Love seeing tips and weight loss ideas posted by other bloggers. I started my own blog to help me on my journey to Thinville.
Thinville.blogspot.com
I am 50 years old and have lost 15 pounds easily by making small changes since Jan. 1, 2011. I am having fun, finding great food and recipe ideas and find new websites every day.
Thinville or Bust!
This is a great resource you’ve put together to help other dieters. Personally I’ve tried several diets in my decades of on and off overeating, including Weight Watchers, Akins Diets and the hCG diet. I find that if I don’t change my mind along with changing my diet, the pounds never stay off very long.
I’ve also lost a lot of weight by changing my diet.
Thank you for this wonderful site. You have really outdone yourself in furnishing this information. You might want to take a look at this blog that was created just recently.

It is important to eat healthy and to drink healthy too. I recommend to drink 2-3 litres of water daily, and exercise daily as well for good health. I also recommend to drink daily green barely. I am drinking it for couple years now, and I must say, first I did not like it much, but now, I cannot stop drinking it:).
You can go to this great website, you can find the green barley there as well as other great supplements, weight loss and other amazing products!

I found a diet blog on the web a few weeks ago. I’m following a 3 day detox diet I read about. But for the life of me I cannot find the article again but will keep looking. Love the content & coloring of your site!
Great resources for someone starting out on a diet.
I looked at all of the sites listed and a common theme seems to be calorie counting. I have created a diet of my own, called “eat-when-hungry”, which is precisely that; to eliminate as many calories as possible. The last time I had something to eat was three days ago, and I feel great. Drinking a lot of water though. The problem, to me, is that calorie counting takes too long. I want to lose weight as quickly as possible, and then maintain my goal weight. I have committed myself to losing 100 pounds before December 2011.
Is this possible? We will see.
Great resource for those of us starting out on a diet.
The common theme on dieting blogs seems to be calorie counting. This, sorry to say, takes far too long. I have been on every diet known to man, and nothing has worked for me. As a last resort, I have decided that I am only going to eat when I feel hungry. I have not had anything to eat for three days, and I feel great. I drink a lot of water though. I have set a goal to lose at least 50 pounds before December 2011. My ultimate goal is 100 pounds.
Let us see how that works out!

A healthy diet is composed of proper amounts of carbohydrates, protein and fats from proper sources. It is low in sugar, salt and fat; as much as possible caffeine is avoided and no alcohol. Healthy foods and a balanced diet can significantly improve workplace productivity across the board. This is really useful and informative. Thanks

I admire the valuable information you offer in your article. Fiber should also be included in your new diet plan. Green vegetables and many fruits have roughage, just like grains, lentils, beans and peas. Fresh garlic improve your cardiovascular system, lower cholesterol & blood pressure, lower your risk of cancer, and fight almost all microbial, bacterial & fungal infections, so start using fresh garlic in your recipes as much as possible. It tastes great and will vastly improve your general health.

Hi Delilah,
Since my last post on your site in March 2011, I have made great progress with my book and new website. Your site is always full of great information and responses from people looking for help. I have included your site as an information link in mine as a result. I keep a survey open on my site for the public to learn more about the issues and problems of dieting and weight management. Periodically I post the results of a different set of questions. In my review of the results, I get to the root of the problems people are having as a result of misinformation, cultural pressures and the overwhelming volume of contradictory information. Please take a few minutes to visit the site for information and resources and take the survey to contribute to the results and analysis that will help everyone make positive long term progress in losing and managing their weight by changing their lifestyle.
DietLifestyleResearch.com
If you aren’t getting anywhere with diets in general, use this site to pose questions and to hear the voice of others from a survey that I have conducted to learn more about the personal struggle of people who have weight and health problems. These are people who are telling me they have issues with chronic low energy, partners who are not supportive of a lifestyle adopting healthy options, and failing to achieve results with formal diets. Many of these people have fallen victim to the belief that it is genetics preventing them from succeeding. I can help you see past these things and gain the strength and momentum you need to do what’s right for you.
Thank you!

The fantastic list of health blogs- I have found one really helpful blog in weight loss you can visit it here – http://www.hcgtreatments.com/blog/
Gastric Bypass Results / no surgery
What is the Formula?
A dose in the morning limits available stomach space practically forcing you to eat half as much as before. This is a powerful weapon against obesity. A successful regimen will result in a smaller size stomach (3-6 months), improving eating habits and overcoming cravings.
What is “gastric bypass NO surgery” ?
Gastric bypass with no surgery
Used successfully in Europe for 6 years, this medical innovation is an easy-to-use formula that creates a natural GASTRIC BYPASS EFFECT in the stomach. Mixed with water and taken in the morning, it immediately expands in your stomach, leaving only a small limited stomach available for food intake and practically forcing you to eat half.
The result: an immediate calorie deficiency and weight loss from day one. To accelerate the process, the formula includes the patented ingredient β-Glucan®, which balances blood sugar levels and fights your cravings for sweets and snacks – something that surgery isn’t capable of. You’ll not only eat less food without feeling hungry, you’ll eat healthier too.
Eat half from day one
While in the past you required a full meal to fill your stomach and satisfy your hunger, once you’re using the formula, you can take half a portion and still feel satisfied after. Since the formula PHYSICALLY fills your stomach, you have neither the need nor the space for more. At the end of the day, you’ll find that even though you ate very little, you felt satisfied and your energy level remained high. Without realizing, you entered a state of calorie deficiency, where you ate fewer calories than you burned.
Safer and healthier than gastric bypass
With over 27,000 YouTube and testimonial results, the formula is probably the strongest and fastest method in the world to lose weight giving it a 90% success rate. In comparison to gastric bypass surgery, the formula is less risky, faster, healthier, and has almost NO SIDE EFFECTS or complications. And at the low cost of $640, it’s a fraction of the cost of gastric bypass surgery, which can be $15,000 or more.
With RocaLabs™ Natural Gastric Bypass Formula, you finally have the weapon you need to win the fight against hunger, cravings, and obesity. You’ll lose weight, look better, and improve your health easily and naturally. The power to succeed is in your hands.
My belief is one hundred per cent the way to maintain weight loss and balance in life is to exercise more and be selective in what you eat. I worry about the pressures put on young women to conform to ‘skinny’ opposed to slim. I am embarking on a mission to understand this desire and the real effects of it.

Well Thank you for sharing these valuable information.. Even I had to struggle a lot to go down and finally i was succeeded! was not easy but some how I forced myself to it.. Control, motivation, and will is what you need..

I’ve found from personal experience with my wife that so many factors come into play when maintaining your weight we have to live an active lifestyle along with the diet. We hike and work out on a weekly basis we are even considering going vegetarian which may be challenging as I love to eat meat. Guess my protien can come from beans and tofu. Time to research that.

Very cool that you actually took time to put together a list of other bloggers who you admire. I always find it strange when people just want all the comments for their own blog. Isn’t the reason we all started doing this for, was to help other people? Anways, I already have two of those bookmarked for me and my daughter and they are great. Some good information. My blog is actually about trimming and toning your abs -http://www.best-abworkouts.com, but stresses the importance of diet because you will never get those six pack abs unless you have control of your diet. I have seen the 3fatchicks.com blog before and liked that. I will be checking out the others listed as well. Thanks for the resource!!!
Nice list. I have checked all links. Some of them are not responding & error is occuring on page opening. These blogs are useful. Thanks for this sharing. But, please check the blogs which is not opening.
Here’s my list that have a table to follow the dieta disociada. Comes in handy if you do explication and it feels better, Try to see it better. I encourage all of them!
I agree that running is the best exercises because it helps us to burn the calories. In order to successfully reduce weight one should eat 5-6 times per day, a small meal, instead of 3 heavy meals. You must forget soft drinks, soda and alcohol. It taste really good but the only need of your body is water. Replace fizzy drinks and fruit cordials with water, Stop taking sugar in tea and coffee, Avoid having a second helping at dinner, Cut out unhealthy treats – such as confectionary, sugary biscuits and crisps between meals. Thanks a lot.
Another controlled/fad diet or gimmick is the last thing any of us needs. A life style change is the key to losing weight permanently in a healthy and natural way that our body is designed to follow. That lifestyle change should include a transition over time to a diet of mostly fresh vegetables and fruits. I’m not saying you need to stop eating meat, but it should be a much smaller portion of your diet. Humans, as omnivores, are designed anatomically and physiologically to consume approximately 10% animal and 90% vegetable. And, the more you eat raw, the better. It gets you away from processed empty calories. Cooking food destroys essential nutrients, enzymes and vitamins, often destroying 40-60% or more. Microwaving pretty much eliminates any nutrient value. As a result, your body struggles to keep up with the need for nutrients. Empty calories means just that; no or very little nutrient value. So, you end up having to eat more food to get the nutrients that you need. The problem is that the empty calorie food items, such as soft drinks, microwaved food, cooked food, processed foods in cans and boxes all contain high levels of fat, sugar and carbohydrates that your body will convert to fat to be stored in your adipose tissues. By eating more raw food (salads with raw seeds and nuts with essential omega oils), your body consumes less food. You’re not as hungry because you simply are giving it the nutrients you need in a smaller package without all of the fattening fat, sugar and carbs. And, your blood pressure will thank you for getting rid of all the sodium (salt) that comes in processed foods. Eating between meals becomes less of a necessity the more you eat raw food. You don’t crave food as often. Eating between meals actually stimulates the production of insulin which stops fat metabolism and brings blood sugar down. Not eating between meals and eating more raw foods stimulates the production of the pancreatic hormone, glucagon, which naturally raises your blood sugar during times of hunger to tell you it’s Ok to be a little hungry and keeps your body using up fat reserves instead. It doesn’t bother you the way the intense frantic hunger that you get from eating too many empty calories does. If you eat often between meals, you will supress the production of glucagon and the associated fat metabolism by always driving new insulin into your blood stream. And, if you want to lose weight, that’s not a good thing.
In summary; eat less animals products; eat more raw fresh fruits, vegatable, nuts and seeds; stop drinking sugary beverages that have no nutrient value. Your energy levels will boom. Give it a few weeks for your body to cleanse where you may feel a little up and down from all of the change.

How Is Our Body Best Suited To Eating?
Unquestionably, humans are omnivores. This means that we eat foods derived from both plants and animals; however, our body structures and physiology are text book indicators of our natural diet. We are most like fruit eaters and very dissimilar to meat eaters. Scientific studies clearly demonstrate that humans are physiologically, anatomically and instinctively suited to a diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains primarily.
Meat-eaters have claws, sharp pointed teeth, small salivary glands, acidic saliva, very short intestines (3 times the body length) and hydrochloric stomach acid twenty times stronger than humans, fruit-eaters and leaf/grass-eaters. Meat-eaters are devoid of ptyalin to predigest grains and possess no back molars to grind plant material. Humans match fruit-eaters characteristics by not having claws or sharp pointed teeth and have well developed salivary glands to pre-digest grains, alkaline saliva, ptyalin, flat back molars, weak stomach acid and very long intestines (12 times the body length). A meat eater’s strong stomach acid is required to digest fibrous bone and tissue. The toxic by-products of this decaying flesh require rapid venting from the body since there is no fiber in meat. This is accomplished by the very short intestinal tract of carnivores in contrast to the slow digestion of fruits and vegetables in the very long intestines of humans, fruit-eaters and leaf/grass-eaters.*
Today, eating in our fast-paced society has evolved rapidly toward convenient “fast food” processes. The technology to process, preserve, freeze and refrigerate food has given us an opportunity to become gluttonous in our consumption of meat, thus leading to the diseases associated with this practice. The definition of “omnivore” confuses many people and has led to a distortion in the diets of people who have unwittingly assumed that omnivorous simply means eating both plants and animals, therefore, half and half. Unfortunately, things are not black and white as there are varying levels of the omnivorous condition in nature. Many omnivores consume only a small portion of their diet as meat. Based on physical and physiological attributes, humans should optimally consume about 10% animal and 90% plant products.
So, getting back to the question, “how is our body best suited to eating?” As it turns out, the answer is very simple. Eat the way nature intended us to eat. Consume as many unprocessed raw foods as possible and eat primarily what grows on the earth and reduce or eliminate our modern nearly carnivorous habits. Don’t forget to chew your food slowly and thoroughly to get the most out of it. The more you get back to your omnivorous roots, the sooner you will lean out, lose weight permanently and reduce your chances of getting diseases dramatically.

My working plan to lose weight is to reduce your food ,eat small but more often and work some exercise but not gym only running or fast walking or something else to loss of calories…
my best
Wow pretty good compiled list of diet blogs. Hopefully my site can be on such a list. It’s a catchy blog showing you how to make the ultimate homemade diet shakes .
I was really big on natural nutrition but it wasn’t really helping me as much. So now I’m glad i found this wealth of knowledge to increase my weightloss goals
I really appreciate the kind of topics you post here. Natural supplements play a crucial role for reducing weight. Go for more vegetables and fruits. Eat sweet fruits instead of eating sweet chocolate bars and snacks. For your meals, you should choose to organic vegetables if possible because it has the low-calorie content and it is the best source of fiber that helps you to lose weight faster.
One Action You Can Take to Lose Weight, Boost Energy and Reduce Sickness – It’s All in Your Control
If you’re overweight, tired, low in energy, often sick or even depressed, take a look at how much sugar you consume in soft drinks and juices as a first step in understanding your problem. The initial sugar energy spike you get with a soft drink is almost immediately followed by insulin secretions which begin to lower your blood sugar as a natural regulation mechanism. This decline in blood sugar could give you the sensations of weakness or fatigue, often causing you to nap, avoid exercise or simply lay around. It also can cause you to overeat in an attempt to get the sugar high back and search for nutrients and minerals missing in the empty calories you consumed in the soft drink. To compound things further, the excess sugar in your system is converted to fat. Over time, as you elevate your sugar intake to unhealthy levels, your immune system becomes less able to contend with sickness and disease. It’s a cycle that needs to be broken if you want to be active, lose weight and reduce the amount of times you are sick each year.
A study by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluded that reducing liquid calorie intake (soft drinks, etc.) had a stronger effect on weight loss than did a reduction of solid food calorie intake. It showed statistically that a reduction in sugar sweetened beverage intake was significantly associated with weight loss. In other words, cutting out sugary drinks is a great early target to lose weight quickly even if you do nothing else to change your diet. A relative of mine lost over 30 lbs. in just a few months (from 220 lbs. down to 185 lbs.) by simply eliminating his consumption of soft drinks alone.

FROZEN BANANAS FOR SMOOTHIES ON THE RUN
Bananas provide a great creamy base for a smoothie regardless of what other fruit you might use. If you have extra bananas or ones that are too ripe, cut them up and store in the freezer for making fruit/protein smoothies. It’s easy to pull out a cookie sheet and slice the bananas on it. You can get a few bananas on a cookie sheet if you keep the slices close together. If you have a big enough freezer, the tray should fit. After they’re frozen, pull the tray out and slide the banana slices into a container and pop them back into the freezer. Now you’re set with bananas for nutritious smoothies on demand. It only takes a few minutes to set yourself up for success on those days when you are in a hurry.

Awesome information, but I don’t know why we keep trying to diet on our own. It’s too daunting of a task. Why not let someone else do all the work for you? Try it. It really works! I appreciate a diet that doesn’t really seem like a diet or taste like a diet.

ON TRIMMING THE FAT
To understand the perspective of diet information seekers, I conducted a survey to give the general public an anonymous place to share their voice on diet topics. I found that 76% of survey takers said they thought chicken and turkey are leaner and contain less fat and cholesterol than red meat such as beef.
Cholesterol is found in the muscle tissue of all meat. Many would be surprised that both chicken and fish have twice the cholesterol per calorie as beef*. Also, Sea foods such as crab, shrimp, and lobster are very high in cholesterol content**. Our liver is capable of synthesizing all of the cholesterol we need for hormones, cell structure and nerves, so none of it really needs to come from our diet. Consuming cholesterol in food leads to an excess in our bodies. Since LDL (bad cholesterol) contributes to plaque build-up in our arteries we need to watch consumption. Because plant-based foods contain zero cholesterol and provide all the ingredients for our liver to make cholesterol, these foods should make up most of our diet.
Despite removing the skin and excess fatty tissue, chicken is still many times fattier than vegetarian foods (no meat or dairy). Even if people ate the same quantity of meat as in past generations, genetic selection practices by factory farmers has led to meat with a much higher fat content**. We should all recognize that fat is an essential part of everyone’s diet as long as it is the right fat. In fact, eating the right fat can help you lose weight. Unfortunately, chicken and beef contain a significant amount of unhealthy fats which I will address in a future blog posting.
One thing many people don’t realize is that chicken, like all meat, has zero fiber. Therefore, along with bad fats and cholesterol, meat represents a triple threat to your health. So, if you think you are doing yourself a favor by shifting to chicken or seafood to lose weight or improve your health, you should examine what real impact those choices may have on your current weight and state of heart and circulatory health.

Love ur blogs about diets, tips and ideas! I am always on diets and the worst thing for me on a diet is always the alcohol! I find it really hard but the best drink I found out about recently is stella cidre! They have reduced their content from 5% to 0.2% which I think is amazing and great news for beer drinkers on a diet!!

When used in combination with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and behavior therapy, phentermine helps you to lose weight while you are learning new ways to eat and to exercise.
48% of my survey takers said they crave salt.
From a health standpoint, this can be a serious situation for many people, especially those with high blood pressure, atherosclerosis and heart disease. Drawing from my own experience, a few years ago I discovered that I had higher than normal blood pressure after years of steady 120/80. It was now lingering daily at 155/95 even before stepped out of bed in the morning. As a 20+ year strict vegetarian I was shocked to find this out. My cholesterol was always around 150 or less and I worked to manage my weight and very rarely added salt to my meals. I couldn’t imagine how I could have high blood pressure. My doctor told me it was genetic. I didn’t know what to think. I went on a beta blocker, atenolol, to control the blood pressure only to suffer from many side effects such as depression, increased anxiety and irritability. During a 2 year period as I went for new prescriptions I spoke with 2 other doctors and they concurred that it was genetic.
The prescription did little to improve my condition and doctors could only recommend stronger medication. My wife and I felt that there had to be a root cause that wasn’t easily identifiable either in the form of a deficiency like vitamin B-12 (common deficiency among strict vegetarians) or possibly a thyroid imbalance which appears to exist in some of my family members. As a result, I went to a 4th doctor, a specialist in endocrinology. He told me that I did not have any thyroid or hormonal issues influencing my blood pressure and that it was probably inherited. I was very discouraged by this time.
Throughout the year, I receive regular emails from Dr. Joel Fuhrman, MD who specializes in nutritional medicine. He believes that fad diets are missing ‘the importance of good nutrition’. Not long after my 4th doctor’s visit, I spotted Dr. Fuhrman’s email addressing sodium. What an eye opener that was. I rarely added salt to my food, but I had not thought to analyze the foods that I ate for salt content. In fact, I considered myself better than most people at limiting added salt. Dr. Fuhrman said that the human diet for millions of years did not contain any added salt and provided less that 1000 mg of sodium per day. The average American consumes 3,500 mg. /day. I was shocked. Within 24 hours I had examined all the processed foods that we used and could not believe that I was one of those Americans despite not adding salt to the foods we prepared or cooked either in the cooking stage or on the plate. I immediately set out on a strategy to reduce from thousands of mg to fewer than 1000 mg a day. This meant eliminating canned and packaged processed foods of which most contained very high levels of sodium. We made these changes overnight.
Within 5-7 days my blood pressure had changed slightly and within 2 weeks my pressure dropped dramatically. I don’t recommend you do what I did next without consulting with your doctor, but I weaned myself from the beta blockers slowly and completely over a 4-6 week period while keeping my average daily intake of sodium under 1000 mg. a day, just like our ancestors. The results were dramatic. Over a 3 month period my average systolic blood pressure dropped from an average of 149 (while on medication) to 128 (with no medication). My diastolic blood pressure dropped from an average of 90 while on medication to 74 with no medication. Not only that, because I had discontinued the beta blocker, all of my side effects ceased completely. There was no more depression, anxiety had improved over pre-high blood pressure days and irritability mostly disappeared. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the doctors for telling me it was genetic and taking me down the ‘quick-fix’ symptom solving path that was failing miserably.
About two thirds of all strokes are caused by hypertension (high blood pressure). And, with sodium from salt often contributing to hypertension, keeping an eye on your sodium intake is important. After examining boxed and canned products along with condiments, chips and other processed foods, I could not believe my eyes. I’m not sure why I was so surprised since the makers of processed food products are notorious for adding large quantities of salt, sugar or fat ‘flavor’ in these over processed foods that feed our addictions and boost profits. My wife and I embarked on a path to remove all the unnecessary sodium from our diet. Proud of the discipline we had followed for so many years as strict vegetarians, which had successfully maintained our health (we thought), we began to realize all over again that we needed to take our lifestyle to a new level and reinvent our self once again. We had become complacent which reminded us that there must be more to learn.
The natural progression away from toxic processed foods was toward the world of raw food where there was even less sodium, more concentrated un-denatured live nutrients and a natural lifestyle so compatible with our bodies that it made total sense to follow this new journey. My blood pressure stabilized at normal levels and I had found the root cause of my problem, not simply treated the symptoms as mainstream medicine and pharmaceuticals often do. Experiences like these remind us that we must examine our health, look for root causes of problems and always take charge of your circumstances by replacing bad choices with good ones that you know could contribute to a positive change in your lifestyle eating habits over time. Follow your instincts and become tuned to what your mind and body are telling you.
Thanks for listening,
Marty Bridgham

when ever someone wants to start loosing weight it is alway good to talk to others to help you on your way. There are loads of great blogs out there and these are some very nice ones. if you want some advice about weight loss then these blogs would be a great internet friends to help you along
I think their is more to shedding weight than just the physical aspects of diet and exercise. Diets don’t really fail. They do, when followed properly, lose you some weight. Even great amounts of weight. I’ve done it… but what KEPT the weight off for me for a very long time is when i discovered the other aspects to myself that were to do with the emotional reasons i would overeat and eventually sabotage my hard-earned weightloss efforts. NOONE could give me answers as to why i would do that and my my success was short lived.
I was looking for something else and thought i would find it in being thin…. i thought, and i bought into the idea, that if i was thin i would find the happiness that had been eluding me. A feeling of emptiness that i just couldn’t fill. I used to fill it with food and relied on it as an emotional crutch to get me through life and give me some ‘joy’. But then i would have to follow it with spurts of deprivisation and dieting to stop gaining weight from the joy i was finding in food. I call this cycle ‘The Diet Pendulum’ – when you find yourself swinging between dieting and overeating.
If you want to know more about my journey and discovery of freedom from dieting and food obsession, please go to my blog at thedietpendulum.blogspot.com

I discovered more new things on this fat loss issue. A single issue is that good nutrition is highly vital while dieting. A big reduction in bad foods, sugary foods, fried foods, sweet foods, red meat, and white flour products may be necessary. Having wastes bloodsuckers, and wastes may prevent aims for losing fat. While selected drugs temporarily solve the challenge, the terrible side effects are certainly not worth it, and they never provide more than a non permanent solution. It is just a known fact that 95% of fad diet plans fail. Thanks for sharing your thinking on this website.

all these diets are totally misleading. After reading the nutrition section of the wiki article on carbohydrates, I realized that carbs are not an essential nutrient. That means that they are not used in metabolism. Also, in hospitals, feed tubes do not dispense carbs – just proteins and fats. researching how digestion works (max 8 hours) and how long material stays in your system (up to 3 days), I formulated this plan:
Eat whatever and however much you want EXCEPT up until 8 hours before going to bed. Within 8 hours of going to bed, avoid carbs and eat as much GOMBS based meals as possible. After dinner, only have water (no teas or others). Losing 2 pounds a week is easy on this, and you still get to eat all your favourites for breakfast or lunch.

Hey this blog has a lot of information on it. I will be coming back to read up on a few more articles.
You Might include one of the numerous individuals who feel frustrated due to difficulty slimming down. It’s not surprising. Since the putting on weight is an extremely complex problem. There’s the influence of genetics, lifestyle, diet, yet others.
Advantages of pilates which are directly felt physically helping to loosen stiff muscles due to insufficient movement, tension, and stress. Yoga actions may also increase the plethora of joint movement, increase versatility, and help correct faulty posture due to putting on weight.
Pilates assistance to strengthen and lengthen muscles, permitting your body to become more slender and shaped after practice. However, the formed body isn’t necessarily then weight reduction. Remember, muscle is denser and heavier compared to amount of body fat tissue.
Potential Burn Fat
In yoga there’s also the concept of pranayama. Breathing workouts are making vital energy or prana in your body moving. It will help solve problems whenever you put on weight, but instead sluggish because of decreased levels of energy.
Another advantage of yoga may be the mental aspect. Putting on weight frequently makes self-giving negative comments. Through yoga we attempt to avoid this by developing a safe and positive atmosphere to reunite your body and get rid of the negative messages that frequently spring to mind http://bestdietplan07.com/2012/04/30/low-potassium-diet-plan.html.

This is extremely inspirational for other people trying to lose weight. I personally have been using this product from http://www.Frutaplanta.net and have been shedding the pounds quickly! It’s an all natural way to lose weight. This Chinese tea has been beneficial for me and I love sharing it with other people. Help me spread the word. I know that many other people would see results from using this product.
Interesting article… though it could not impress me that much as I already have read some more articles on the same topics from http://www.bestdietarticle. info… I think the readers should check that site also… at least it is rich with content I can say… though the theme and site looking is worse in my eyes! Sorry.. I am a straight forward person..lol

Great tips for being healthy; I am also concern about my diet & exercise so that it keeps me fit for every time I already have read some more articles on the same topics from http://www.bestdietarticle.info I think one should check it once.
Thanks Delillah you have alot of useful tips gathered from other bloggers although I feel 52 diets in 52 weeks is a bit much for me. But I do really like Healthy BPM and 3 Fat Chicks

What a great list!!! Should keep me out of the fridge just checking them all out.
I like the list very much. Have checked some of the blogs, and actually I love the idea of trying several recipes out more than the idea of dieting. NOw I need to check how to combine these two in a good way.
Great that I have found you,
Val
Great read thanks for all the blogs since I am on a strict diet all the resources you have given me is great.

If you can follow someone on your journey to diet then this is going to encourage you. Also alot of the blogs you mention have some great menu tips on the sites which help in coming up with a variety of meals that you can eat but that are also healthy and low in calories.
Hi, Delilah!
Thank you for blog list!
Hello delilah my wife just had our 3rd son in December this time around though she did not fit back into her jeans. I know she will lose the weight but she feels real self conscious about how she looks. She is breastfeeding but not losing the weight like she would like to. Is there anything she should can do safely while breastfeeding and exercise is out of the question right now with three young boys she tired enough.
What a useful list of diet blogs although some of them dont appear to have any really recent posts- perhaps they got to their target weight?
[...] sorry, you’re in the wrong place. The best thing you can do for yourself is check out the best dieting blogs. You won’t find any ‘valuable’ dieting content [...]
