So Finally!
My site is up and I'm opening my blog here today as well to ramble on all sorts of dieting topics I come across on my daily diet crusade :-)
There's an interesting controversy going on at diet-blog.com today - see the following quote:
Besides, there is the embarrassing fact that those who eat and drink junk do so for cheap comfort and because they are either too poor or too ignorant (or both) to prepare healthy food.
To say that fat folks are too stupid is one heck of a judgment call. In that case why are certain airhead celebrities so thin?
The demographics speak for it... it's about education and not believing the brain-washing media that tell us about "good and delicious burgers" ... (same applies to presidents, wars, governments, medical/health industry btw)
Junk food as a cheap comfort is the real issue. Anyone that goes shopping knows that refined carbohydrates are ridiculously cheap. The Times writer urges major government intervention:
No, sorry - not "anyone" that is able to shell out "1$ for a burger meal understandy WHY it is so hell cheap...
