Dieting on Vacation

I am going on vacation for one week. "Sounds great!"
you might think, but actually I am faced with one of the biggest problems
of all dieters: how to stick to your diet while you are on vacation usually surrounded by soooo many delicious foods.
"Are there any tips on how to maintain your diet when you are on holiday?" I asked myself.
Well, there are some that I found on different websites, but I am not sure if they will work out.
1. Keep moving -> ok, of course that is possible. But I am usually on vacation to relax myself, and that won't work if I have to "keep moving" 24/7. Anyway, I will try to practice as much sport as possible while on holiday.
2. Pack healthy -> definitely something I will do. When I go to the beach nothing but fruit will come into my bag.
3. Chew your food well -> I am trying this at home, so I will try it on vacation too.
4. Stay busy -> yes of course, but I want to relax a little bit too.
Other websites say that it won't ruin your diet if you don't stick to it for a couple of days, but I doubt that.
I WANT to stick to it cuz I WANT to lose weight.
Therefore I think it is not worth throwing my whole diet mentality over board just for one week. I will stay strong!

So, did you stick to your diet? I have never succeeded in staying on a diet while on holiday. I hope you were more successful than me.
