Delilah's diet healthy eating ideas

Delicious diet recipe

We all need inspiration and ideas when dieting and I often turn to the Internet to look for interesting low fat or low calorie meal ideas. It’s been a while since I wrote a blog round up, so I thought I’d put together three of my favourite diet recipe blogs to share with you.

1. Slimming Eats

This great diet recipe blog is written by a Brit living overseas in Canada who follows the Slimming World diet plan. The blog is updated regularly with some gorgeous looking recipes and meal ideas, all of which are suitable for people doing Slimming World (green days, original days and Extra Easy).

Because the recipes are naturally low in fat and calories, they’re suitable for followers of lots of other diet and healthy eating plans too and can easily be adapted. What I love most about this blog is that the photos always make the dishes look so appealing and that the blogger gives clear instructions about how to make the dishes.

2. Diet Recipes Blog

The aim of the diet recipes blog is simple – to gather together delicious diet recipes that are under 200 calories.

The blog has been going for a couple of years, so they’ve built a good selection of recipes, including lots of dishes from around the world, such as Indian, Mexican, Greek and Scandinavian recipes. They always include a photo of the finished dish, ingredients lists and details of how to make everything.

3. Kalyn’s Kitchen

Kalyn lost an amazing 42lb following the South Beach Diet and now combines her love for food by writing a blog focusing on healthy, lower-glycemic dieting.

Kalyn’s Kitchen is updated regularly with lots of nice looking recipes. They’re not just for dieters – they’re for anyone wanting to eat healthily and keep their blood sugar levels even. I love the look of some of the warming winter soup recipes and, if you’ve got particular ingredients in stock at the moment, you can search for recipes to match them.

If you’re adapting your unhealthy cooking methods to healthier ones, then there also some useful tips and advice on healthier cooking methods.

Do you have any favourite diet recipe blogs? (Other than my blog, of course!)

These recipes look great. I recently started eating healthy so I will definitely add these recipes to my diet. It is great to find healthy low calorie recipes. It is true that once you start cutting out the junk food and replace with healthier non-processed foods you do feel and look better. You really can find low calorie recipe that are also tasty. Here is a healthy low calorie pumpkin pie recipe that is pretty good. So yes Thanksgiving favorites can be healthy and low in calories.

love your website because it is positive and full of ideas. I have decided to only read and learn from websites that inspire me like yours and avoid negative websites that run people down.
